Chocolate Chip Biscuits with Nuts

Ingredients

115g Butter softened
50g Caster sugar
110g Brown sugar
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1 egg beaten
155g Plain flour
Pinch baking powder
100g dark chocolate (orange?)
50g chopped nuts

Method

Heat fan oven to 170 C.
Whisk butter, sugars and vanilla until light and creamy. Mix in the egg. Chop chocolate into small bits mix with nuts, flour and baking powder. Fold this into butter mixture. On flour, roll into 4cm diameter cylinder, wrap in clingfilm and chill for 20 minutes.
Cut 1 cm sections from the cylinder and bake on a non-stick surface for 8 - 10 minutes.When removed allow to cool before moving (they are soft when hot), then put on a rack to dry out. If they are not dry enough, cook again for 5 minutes
