Cinnamon Biscuits

Ingredients

100g Butter Softened
100g Caster Sugar
1 tablespoon Golden Syrup
150g Plain Flour
1 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda

Method

Preheat fan oven to 160 C. Whisk butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in golden syrup. Fold flour, cinnamon and bicarb into the butter mixture. Roll mixture into a cylinder about 3 cm diameter than flatten and cut into sections to fit on a non stick surfaced baking tray (they will spread a fair bit). Sprinkle a mixture of caster sugar and cinnamon over the top
Cook for about 12 mins.
When removed allow to cool before moving (they are soft when hot), then put on a rack to dry out. If they are not dry enough, cook again for 5 minutes.
