Orange Oat Biscuits

Ingredients

150g Porridge Oats
75g Sunflower Seeds
150g Self Raising Flour
150g Butter
Zest of 1 Orange
2 tbsp Orange Juice
150g Soft Light Brown Sugar
2 tbsp Golden Syrup

Method

Preheat fan oven to 160 C
Blend butter, orange juice, orange zest, sugar and golden syrup over a low heat. Mix the flour, oats and sunflower seeds together then stir in the warm mixture. Put in the fridge to cool for 15 mins
Put heaped dessertspoon portions on a nonstick surface and bake for  8 - 10 minutes. When removed allow to cool before moving (they are soft when hot), then put on a rack to dry out. If they are not dry enough, cook again for 5 minutes
