Ingredients
Makes about two 8 inch pizzas
(add sauce and toppings and cook at fan 200C for about 15 minutes)
140 ml Water
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp fast action yeast
250g plain flour
For the Sauce
3 tablespoons of Olive Oil
1 425g can of chopped tomatoes
1 tsp dried oregano
pinch of sugar
salt and pepper
Method
For the dough
Mix all the ingredients with a dough hook for 10 minutes.
Cover and allow to rise for an hour.
Roll out (one large or two medium pizzas), add sauce and toppings.
For the Sauce
Put the ingredients in a saucepan and simmer vigorously for 25 minutes to produce a thick sauce.
